Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable frontend code for high-performance web applications.
• Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to transform business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensuring the quality of code through peer reviews and embracing best practices in development.
• Mentoring team members on frontend technologies and promoting consistent standards.
• Driving architectural decisions for scalable and robust system design.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience creating software products, especially within a startup environment.
• 5+ years engineering interactive web applications in extensive codebases.
• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and React frameworks.
• Experience with automated testing including unit tests.
• Geospatial expertise required: Demonstrable background in graphics, data visualization using GIS or similar technologies.
• A solid understanding of fundamental computer science concepts like data structures and algorithms.

Proven experience engineering software products for start-ups; 5+ years building high-quality interactive web products across large codebases; Strong TypeScript/React skills; Emphasis on frontend unit testing; Geospatial/GIS/Spatial Data Visualization expertise with graphics, EO/Remote Sensing focus. Must have strong computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms.
