Senior WordPress Developer - (PHP, Amazon Web Services, Shopify) - Hybrid in Vinings

Optomi, in partnership with a leading renown family-oriented brand, is seeking a WordPress Developer to fulfill a direct-hire/permanent opportunity with a client based in Atlanta, GA.

This role will play a key part in maintaining the integrity and scalability of our client’s digital ecosystem consisting of WordPress, Amazon Web Services, Shopify, marketing tools mobile applications and game development frameworks.

You’ll collaborate with internal departments and external partners to develop and support web-based features that improve user experience, accessibility, and digital engagement. You’ll also lead the implementation of DevOps practices, supervise technical resources, and ensure digital platforms meet stakeholder needs.

• 7+ years of professional web development experience • 5+ years of experience with SQL/MySQL and API development/integration • 5+ years working across software development life cycles, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, and deployment • 3+ years of custom WordPress development experience, including theme and plugin architecture • Proven background in ecommerce solutions (preferably Shopify) and SaaS integrations via open APIs • Demonstrated success creating high-quality consumer-facing web experiences • Strong programming skills in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, React, and related frameworks • Proficient with front-end libraries such as ReactJS, AngularJS, and jQuery • Solid understanding of UI/UX best practices and accessibility standards • Experience managing cloud infrastructure, preferably in AWS (serverless, containers, architecture) • Experience in multi-platform mobile app development and publishing (iOS, Android)
