About the Role The company is seeking a Full Stack Web Application Engineer to take technical ownership of its customer-facing web platform. This system interfaces directly with industrial AI edge devices used in rugged, real-world environments, from tablets in the field to office desktops. This role is perfect for an engineer ready to shape the web architecture from the ground up, owning everything from frontend frameworks to backend infrastructure.
This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role on a small, deeply collaborative team. You will architect and build applications that need to work seamlessly, even when the internet doesn’t.
Key Responsibilities • Own and architect the full web stack, including frontend, backend, and system integrations • Build responsive, offline-first applications for field use on tablets and connected desktop interfaces • Design robust interfaces between the web app, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and AI-powered edge devices • Implement secure identity management, authentication, and API contracts • Lead framework and architecture decisions, component selection, and design patterns • Establish CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and deployment strategies • Communicate technical decisions clearly with cross-functional stakeholders • Drive sustainable development practices while delivering at startup speed
What You’ll Need to Succeed • Deep expertise in architecting and deploying full-stack web applications • Proven ability to build offline-capable systems with real-time data synchronization • Experience with modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js preferred) and mobile/desktop responsive design • Strong API design skills for distributed systems and edge device communication • Solid grasp of security, identity management, and scalable backend architecture • Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-to-edge integrations • Strong documentation and communication habits • Comfort in high-autonomy environments, owning decisions, and collaborating across teams
