Avant is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer III to build and scale critical systems that power our products and deliver real value to customers. This mid-senior level role requires engineers confident in tackling complex problems, making thoughtful implementation decisions, and driving features to completion with autonomy. You’ll work across the stack and collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering peers to ship high-quality software in a fast-moving environment.

• 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in a full-stack or backend-focused role • Proficiency in one or more object-oriented languages (Ruby, Python, etc.) • Strong understanding of web application architecture, API design, and database systems • Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with cross-functional partners • Excellent communication skills and willingness to mentor others • A growth-oriented attitude
